A2Z Scraplets DT layout

Hello.....today I'm sharing another DT layout that I 

have done for A2Z Scraplets.

This layout has some very simple pieces of chipboard 

on it but they are very effective. Simple is often 

good especially on a mixed media type of layout.

The chipboard is Nested Circles and it comes with 8 

different sized circles in the pack. The other 

piece of chipboard that I have used on this layout 

and many other of my layouts are Mini Wordlets . 

There are all different sorts of packs with 

different words, they are perfect if you want a small 

title. I've chosen Cherish but could of used many 

other ones that would have also been suitable.

I have covered my chipboard circles with black ink and 

the title I used paint.

My daughter Leah and I were going through a heap of old photos 

the other day and found some lovely ones that I haven't scrapped 

so be prepared for a few randoms in the next month or so!

 There were lots of photos Leah had never seen of us before. It's important to scrap old photos even if it for the laughs. Sure was 

a great trip down memory lane for me!

The chipboard I have used is Just the 2 of us. On this chipboard 

I have used Nuvo Crystal drops. I've never used them on chipboard before but it is easy to use and works a treat. 

The Brick work chipboard is a great pack, it comes with 4 pieces, I've actually cut one piece in half and used on my layout. I've 

left these pieces natural.

This week I have kept the layout very monochrome. This 

layout consists of stitching, perfect pearls powder, stamping, flowers and of course gorgeous A2Z Scraplets chipboard.

The chipboard I have used on this layout are Love Every Word 

and the frame is called Frame 104. Jump onto the A2Z Scraplets website to check out all the wonderful chipboard available.

Both pieces of chipboard have been covered in gesso and then 

covered with perfect pearls powder. The powder is similar to 

Lindy's Magicals. I just sprayed some water onto my mat, dipped 

my wet paint brush into the perfect pearls and then blended it 

with the water to get the colour I wanted. I then painted the chipboard quite hap hazardly making sure it wasn't perfectly 

covered and making it slightly different tones.

Howdy

Here is my DT layout for A2Z Scraplets February challenge.

The mood board is all about love this month as its Valentines 

Day soon.

I did what I thought was a lovely layout of my daughter Leah 

and the love of her life, her puppy Eric. Well it seems that Eric didn't like the layout I did or didn't like that I was going to share it on social media. I only had to stick a couple of embellishments onto the layout and it was finished but the rotten damn dog ate half the layout and chewed the rest. I can see the funny side now but there wasn't much love between him and I for a 

few days. 

My second attempt of a layout for this week is minus the dog. I decided to scrap a photo of someone much cuter than him!!! 

Gorgeous little Georgia is much sweeter than Eric.

The chipboard I have used on this layout is Born to Sparkle. I have painted it with white paint and while it was still wet I have sprinkled some white and silver glitter onto it.

Here is what was left from the first layout I did. Thanks Eric you rotten dog, as if I wasn't busy enough, I could have done without scrapping another layout!!

ARTastic DT Challenge Layout - March 2018

Good morning. Time to share another DT layout with you. 

This one is for ARTastic. The criteria was to complete 

a layout using a photo of your favourite animal/pet. 

I had all intensions of doing a layout of Eric of cattle dog but was looking through some old photos and saw this photo of my husband and really wanted to scrap it. The colours worked well too.
